this video will show you how to hack a psp 1000 and 2000 (see update for 3000) without using a pandora battery and magic memory stick using chickhen (will not work if mother board version is TA-088v3 make sure to check in pspident)

UPDATE:
to update from 5.00m33-4 to 5.00m33-6 simply download the file from the following link and copy the update folder to PSP/GAME and run the program in your psp:

UPDATE: if u have a psp 3000 download the following link too and follow the instructions in the video but put this instead of the recovery folder then run it instead of the recovery and select the first option:
